What Roofing Product Should I Choose?
After almost a century in the roofing business, our family has seen a number of roofing products come and go. We work with top manufactures GAF, Malarkey, Certainteed and Duro-Last. When you meet with a Booth & Little representative for an estimate, you will be meeting with more than a salesperson. Our sales staff also possess hands on knowledge in roofing techniques and materials. They are familiar with roof slope and construction, in addition to the region’s micro-climates and conditions, all of which can influence your roofing material choices.
Roof Repairs and Maintenance:
Many of today’s roofing material manufacturers offer long-term warranties. Individual weather and environmental conditions still have an effect. We recommend that you have an experienced roofer walk your roof every 3 to 5 years, to check for damaged or missing shingles, biological growth, cracks or other areas of concern, to catch simple fixes before they become problems.
Re-Roofing:
Booth & Little Roofing is a re-roofing specialist. Whether you are a residential home owner or a commercial enterprise, our experienced staff can efficiently and safely complete each project, small or large.
Inspections:
A roof inspection is often required before the sale of a home or commercial building. Our staff is available for both residential and commercial inspections.
Commercial and Public Works: Our commercial roofing projects include the Corte Madera Town Center. As a qualified public works roofing contractor, we work with Marin Municipal Water District and the City of Mill Valley.
Composite Shingles:
A growing array of styles and colors are available from a range of reputable manufacturers. We recommend that you take a sample of your top two choices and look at them in various light conditions and angles, to see how they’ll look on your home.
Tar and Gravel:
Tar and gravel roofing is still a popular and practical choice for flat or low sloping roofs.
Tile:
Once, the only choice was clay tile, a beautiful, insolating and naturally environmentally friendly roofing solution. Today you can choose from clay or concrete tile.
Duro-Last Shingle Ply:
Duro-Last is a custom-fabricated, single-ply commercial roofing system that is ideal for any flat or low-sloped application. Duro-Last is also gaining ground as a residential application. Booth and Little is an authorized contractor for Duro-Last.
Metal:
Metal roofs are becoming more popular, not only for commercial buildings, but for residential buildings. They are green-friendly, last longer and have evolved stylistically.
